The famous Elko High School marching band made an appearance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1979. Watch as a surprise greets the band and things start getting out of hand! A great, classic performance by possibly the most well-known school band in all of Nevada. Great memories for all involved and attending the school, as this was a well-deserved national spotlight for the band. The band was under the direction of Walt Lovell, and introduced by the late, great Ed McMahon. Enjoy!
